Our activities

We design and facilitate experiential workshops and participatory learning programs based on non-formal education, aimed at young people, adults, and communities in educational and social contexts.

We also design and develop initiatives and activities through participatory processes, working in collaboration with local bodies and organisations, and draft project proposals at local and European level.

Our work combines personal growth and transferable skills' development with the exploration of issues related to migration, drawing on experience, exchange and dialogue.

Inspired by the principles of Global Citizenship Education, we address issues such as:

  • Cultural diversity and plurality of experiences

  • Participation and social inclusion

  • Intercultural and intergenerational relations

  • Identity processes: self-perception, belonging and social recognition

  • Racism, exclusion and discrimination

  • Representations and narratives

Workshops and programmes are adapted to different target groups, contexts and needs, and can be developed through co-design processes with organisations, institutions and local stakeholders.

Our interventions focus on people and relationships, prioritising a horizontal approach to knowledge and creating safe spaces.
They are based on five pillars of non-formal education:

sharing with the group

Our projects

Dentro Fuori

The Dentro Fuori project is funded by the Municipality of Milan through the “Scuola dei quartieri” call for proposals.

Launched in December 2025 and running for 12 months, the project is based in the Milan area and explores the theme of identity in a global and intercultural society, with the overall aim of helping to create narratives that are more inclusive and representative of the diversity that characterises contemporary Italian society.

Through workshop activities and participatory learning programmes, the project aims to:

  • encourage participants to explore their own identity, by providing them with a space in which to recognise, process and share experiences, values, resources and difficulties linked to their personal and family history;

  • develop cross-cutting, personal and social skills, including self-awareness, reflective ability, critical thinking, curiosity, empathy and active listening, which are useful for tackling the challenges associated with building one’s own identity and relationships with others;

  • strengthen the sense of belonging and the ability to participate in the life of one’s community, encouraging the transition from individual reflection to discussion and collective action;

  • promote participants’ active involvement and civic engagement, creating concrete opportunities for co-design, collaboration and co-facilitation of community-focused activities;

  • foster intercultural dialogue and greater awareness of social diversity, creating spaces for encounter and discussion capable of challenging stereotypes and oversimplified representations of identity and migration.
